Asphalt patching is a cold mixture that has a polymer adhesive in it that hardens when it is exposed to air, it usually takes less than an hour till it dries. This is what is poured into a crater or pothole to help repair where the asphalt became brittle creating it to break apart. Again, weather and traffic overtime plays a role in asphalt patching. When even the smallest cracks are left untreated and not maintained you will end up having a big crater or pothole in the driveway or parking lot. This problem can not be fixed by a crack filling, the asphalt will need to be patched.  Asphalt patching is another important step to having the proper maintenance of a driveway or parking lot.
